Winston Hodges Kansas City Concert reviews
Still great, even without the old sax player
Lots of energy and good instrumentation, nice mix of newer and old music. My husband wished I could have seen Winston Hodges when the previous sax player was still alive, but I enjoyed the concert regardless. It was 103 degrees at the venue when we arrived (cooled off a little before the show started, but still it must have been HOT on that stage!) They are to be commended for doing a full show. The only frustration (which has nothing to do with the band) was the woman in front of us, who danced so enthusiastically that she took up 3 seats (hers, a stranger's, and her friend's - who finally pushed her out of his wife's seat "space"). I have no problem with people who really get into the music, but folks, please have a LITTLE consideration for everyone else who also bought a ticket!
